Class Introduction

In this move you practice to move leg and arm on the same side. The energy transfer from rear leg to the fingers through extension of the rear leg and leading arm. The switching side help us practice equally on both right and left side. We use hips and leg's joints adjustment to rotate torso. Shoulder joint drives arm while torso rotates that makes arm's position shows in circular curve.

Instruction Level: Static

Turning from one side to the other you will perform changing steps. After the step changed, you should let your weight accurately supported by one leg before moving forward. When approaching forward, the hand on the supporting leg side pressing downward, while the other hand pushed by torso go forward.

Instruction Level: Dynamic

When turning from one direction to another, elbows is kept in the fixed position relative to torso. So that the energy from torso rotation can be transfer to elbows. After the rotation is completed, elbow is in good position so the the angle of shoulder joint can easily transfer pressure from torso through elbows to palms.

Instruction Level: Dynamic

From this view, the angle of shoulder, elbow joints in both forward and backward motion can be observed. Notice how those angles are maintained. And how the fluent energy transfer be the result of that.
