Class Introduction

From class 15 you have learned the " Hidden hand punch L&R ". Here it describes the transition from "The Brush Knee & Step forward " to this move. Notice how to move backward first, then shift weight to the right leg, finally advanced to left side and finish the move.

Instruction Level: Static

Starting with the weight on your right, then slowly sit back and sift your weight on your left leg. Let the circular motion of your waist to bring your left arm forward. Use the same circular force to move your right hand under your left hand where it moves on top. Step out with your left foot diagnally across from your right. While doing so, part both hands as if brushing away a bubble in your surroundings. Circle your waist towards the rights as you bring your right hand into a fist by your right side [keep in mind that your arm should NOT be flat against your body]. Your left hand stretches out to guard your front and left side of your body, while your left palm facesthe right. Snap your waist in a circular motion towards the right, and the natural force will propel your right fist forward. *NOTE: When the fist is brought to the front, in slow motion, it's not going directly straight, but instead, it's from a curled position by your right side, and 'up and out'. Your first contact with your fist is actually your right arm, and then the fist would proceed after it. By Rosa Chou
